Why rent Totoro?

Totoro is first and foremost a van! Solid, compact, comfortable, autonomous, discreet and goes everywhere!

Easy to drive and without surprises, you will feel safe both on the road and in its living space on board.

When it comes to driving, our van is a Ducato, durable and reliable, it has a 140hp diesel engine and a 6-speed manual gearbox. It also has a large touch screen and all driving assistance (GPS, cruise control, hands-free kit and reversing camera).

The strong points

1)      Real beds for 4 people

Tororo has 2 double bunk beds! You can get up in the morning to have breakfast while the children are still sleeping. No need to make and unmake the beds every day, they are fixed.

2)      Great autonomy

Although compact, Totoro has numerous improvements that surpass the autonomy of most original converted vans:

• Victron 170 Ah AGM cell battery

• 80L LPG tank (with external socket)

• 100L clean water reserve

• 100L waste water tank

We have chosen not to install solar panels because electricity consumption is very low in the vehicle. The cell battery is more than sufficient for static use in the great outdoors for several days in a row. The fridge, water heater and stove are gas. Instead, we chose to increase his gas reserve via an external LPG/LPG tank, which gives him 30 days of gas on average.

3)      Plenty of storage

Totoro has a spacious hold to store camping equipment (table, chairs, barbecue, extension cords, outdoor games, etc.). Numerous storage spaces are cleverly distributed throughout the vehicle: trunks, wardrobe, drawers, cupboards and niches.

If you need to bring more equipment (or reserves), or even free up space inside, we can provide you with a 300L waterproof Thule canvas trunk that can be attached to the bike rack (optional) .

4)      Optimized kitchen space

Totoro has a well-appointed two-burner gas stove, a complementary retractable work surface, a bottle rack and a large 80L Trimixte fridge (Gas/220v/12v). A high cupboard and a kitchen unit with three deep drawers will allow you to store dishes and kitchen utensils.

5)      Separate bathroom

Totoro has a separate central bathroom. This has a toilet (cassette), a sink and a shower.
